THE INTERN (2015)
Robert De Niro plays a 70-year-old retiree re-entering the workforce as an intern for a fashion site founded by Jules Ostin (Anne Hathway)
The film chronicles the juxtaposition of an elder man and his millennial co-workers and their culture clashing. While De Niro has a hard time conceptualizing what is expected of him in this job, he serves as a moral guider of the millennials.
THE INTERNSHIP (2013)
Characters portrayed by Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson must find new jobs after they are let go from their jobs as salesmen. Seeking radical change, the two apply and are accepted into the internship program at Google.
There, they are grouped with a crew of millennial misfits that while geniuses in their own right, lack the people skills that Wilson and Vaughn exude. The film then chronicles Wilson and Vaughn’s efforts to educate these child-geniuses in the art of living.
